I spent the day working on my Monster at a friends shop, PCS Daytona. He built the original Turbo Monsters back when the Monster was new. He has Turbo Monster #1 on display for bike week. This is the bike that was shot for the magazine and book articles. He has some great stories about when testing the bike he thought the clutch was slipping in the upper gears until he noticed that the bike was spinning the rear wheel.

I am half way done with the new wheels. The rear is on. The front hubs are still at the machine shop and due back monday. I have the rear spring off at the powder coat shop foa a new color. I brought the front rotors home to disassemble and paint the centers black. Only days until bike week, gotta keep working.
