Red key

I know this is off piste for a monster forum, but would anyone know if a year 2000 750SS fuel injected was supplied with a red key from new?

Pretty sure not, I think the immobiliser/red key started with MY02

I had a look at the owners manual for an '01 750ss (earliest available online) and whilst clicking UK English downloads an Italian manual, it shows only two old style keys and doesn't seem to mention an immobiliser as far as I can tell with my half-baked language skills.

I have a '99 750SSie and it has the old style black key without the immobiliser chip, so pretty sure you won't have had one.

I've a 1999 750ss ie and it has no card or red key just 3 keys??
