Sounds like a bit of a poxy question whilst typing this out, but hopefully that means its a nice easy one to answer too.... :dunce:

I've lost where that little earth cable goes to! (d'oh...) bolts just by where the big crankcase breather sits at the back of the rear barrel....

i've had it off whilst the engine was out and getting painted, i've bolted it back on now the bike is back in one piece and not far off getting ridden again (fingers crossed for taxing in march), assuming it'd be pretty apparent where it goes, and i just can't for the life of me figure it out....

sounds about right for me... manage to strip the bike completely down, valve clearances adjusted and belts done, yet cant find a hole for an 8mm bolt......:dizzy:

Any pointers would be fab! :)

Cheers guys

Yep spot on!!

Remember to scrape away the paint or use a toothed washer to make a good contact on the engine case under the bolt.
When I did a bit of a refresh last year I also beefed up all the ground leads.

Sorry this is the best photo I have handy of it- you can just make it out on the bottom left:

Thought I saw a random bolt hole on mine a suspected it was for the engine earth

Not a bad guess when my bike is completely apart and came to me that way ;)
