After the last clutch case I chopped up I thought I would have another go.

Last one:

The next one. I drilled some corner points by hand:

I then drilled the centre bits out:

I filed the required shape:

It was then tidied up and finished off:

I just need another one to play with now.

That looks much beefier and gives better support to the cover fixings.
I was a little concerned about the first one in that regard.
This one looks to have definite potential though.
And homebuilt ....... nice.

Go on ... polish it.
It'll save a few quid too.
And very, very many micrograms. :)

This one is for my Cafe Racer project, the other one I butchered will go on the Monster refresh and without a cover.
