hi all
I would like to put a usb socket on my s4rs how would I do this and what would I need to buy. thanks
If you're asking the question you should probably get someone comfortable with vehicle electrics to install it.
You'll need something like this

although you could make your own bracket and get the bits cheaper on eBay
If it's wired straight to the battery it must have an inline fuse fitted.

thanks slob I was looking at something similar but that looks better I will get someone to fit it
Peasey to do but yes need to understand 12v electronics beforehand - getting a neat look with cables hidden is important so try and figure out beforehand a good place to mount it so that the cables can be neatly hidden.
I bought one off ebay (2 USB and cigar lighter) in a waterproof housing, in-line fuse and optional 'handlebar adapter' for my boat - works really well but probably a bit big for a bike IMHO and you don't need the cigar lighter bit. We're mounting a fair few in the glove boxes on JetSkis now so that GPS, phones, etc. can be plugged in.
