How come?

How come if you make a cock up when your'e writing a post by putting too many in too many "smileys" or adding an attatchment thats too big, you cant go back and correct it? You just get told that you have ....etc,etc and when you click "back" all your hard work is gone! So you have to type it all again! As Ive just had to do!

Am I being thick and hitting the wrong key? or is there a way round this?

Don't know why but you can copy and paste the text into Word or similar before you send it!!

Pain in the rear but at least you can copy & paste it back if you lose it?

Has anyone else had experience of this? Maybe the site could be altered to allow you to go back and ammend your mistake????
