I know someone has done this before but has anyone got the plans for a battery box?

Yorkie have a look at monster 620-695 battery tray.
Works great with no airbox and cheap 2nd hand. No need to reinvent the wheel

Just take a hacksaw and slice the battery box off an air box.

I haven't got one to hack, it's for my custom build.

That would be great if you have.
If not I will build one of these with sides:

What battery are you going to use, Yorkie ?
I only ask cos lithium ones seems to have got cheaper lately.
I've just bought one of these, for about £80.
Only 805g.
