HI, does anyone on here have a monster with the paolo tex kit fitted? I'd really like to have a look at one in the flesh to see what I think has I quite fancy doing one.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks, Dave.

I haven't seen one fitted in the flesh yet but I'm gonna order just the seat unit soon.

Well it look like there's plenty of interest in them.. I wonder if it's worth hitting him up for a bit of a discount for a group buy, what do you all reckon?
Also if any of you guys get one and want the frame mod and fitting I can do that no issue. Have look on my Instagram account ( DAVEWETTON ) to see the kind of work I do.

Don't get your hopes up about a group buy

@dirty, no I wasn't gonna really. It was just something to look at as a kind of unofficial kinda deal.
@JMH900sie has I just said to dirty. Bellisimo moto seem to have all the options they do for the kit, which is weird as the paolo tex site dosn't, go figure.

What exactly do you need to hack off to get the tail to fit?

@pro7dave I spoke to Paolo in January about buying a kit. Very nice guy but he don't make it easy to give him business so I'm not surprised his site doesn't 'sell' per se. I think the guy is a biker and an engineer/designer and is just not interested in the sales side.

@JMH900SIE I believe the frame gets cut off at the point where the seat rails and the tube the rear footrest hangers mount to converge. From what I've seen if you have the optional numberplate bracket it mounts off this area. I have an idea for a nice tidy solution there.
@Dirty. Yeah that's how it looked to me, happier to be doing his thing than really capitalising on it.

@kate. Did you go through paolo tex directly, what were the lead times like and how's the quality. I bought a rad kit a couple of years back and it was shocking.😯. When are you hoping to fit the kit up?

Not sure I like being called Kate!!!!!!

He won't sell to you directly unless you have the official papers to do business in Italy I had help and managed to wrangle it, you can get his stuff via Bellisimoto in the US but that might prove expensive

Quality is pretty good but at circa €800 + another €100 for the fitting kit it aint cheap

@Kato sorry autocorrect sucks. Sounds like a right bloody ball ache. I thought we were all in the European union now anyway, just one big bunch of homogeneous European gloom. And we could all sell our wares with PayPal and ups.not a lover of red tape.
