Hi guys especially Pompone.
Ok found a warning decal on a monster tank with 70% visible but the Italian part is poor.
Now this may not belong on a 93 bike at all but if so can someone help with the real words missing either with a picture of theirs or a translation that works properly.

I tried my best to think the wording in English would be this

ATTENTION ! To avoid fuel leaks from the breather pipe do not lift the tank when it is more than half full.

It translates not precisely to what it looks like in parts on the decal.

ATTENZIONE! Per evitare perdite di carburante dal tubo di sfiato non sollevare il serbatoio quando è più che mezzo pieno.

If correct for bike Image Works can easily reproduce it.

Ok, that one goes like this:
ATTENZIONE: per evitare perdite di carburante dal tubo sfiato, evitare [dunno???] il sollevamento quando questo é pieno oltre la metà
Funnily enough the word tubo has an accent on the o which shouldn't be there and is written in quite a formal way..
I think we have an early tank knocking about, I'll look for it..

Evitare di sollevare il serbatoio quando.. The rest is correct..

It still doesn't translate correct but looks and sounds ok

surely you mean:

ATTENZIONE! per evitare di carburante
dal tubò sfiato, evitare di sollevare il serbatoio
quando questo é pieno oltre la metà.

ATTENTION! To avoid fuel leaks from the breather tube
do not lift the tank when it is more than half-full.

No accent on the o in tubo (I know there's one on the original but shouldn't be there, I suspect a typo) and you both left out perdite. Also the direction of the accent makes a difference ( è is different from é etc.)
At the back of the class, both of you ;)

The original I'd say. Also later ones have a part number on the bottom right corner, I suspect this would have been the same

The original I'd say.

Would think so too.

Some take it to extremes though. I recall reading a magazine article where someone had built a replica of (IIRC) Mike Hailwood's racer and had even gone to the trouble of bonding a dead fly into the construction of the fibreglass fuel tank, because the original had one...

As Pompone might say: non mi rompere i coglioni.

And if he finds me I'll be "sleeping with the fishes".

Ah what culture in this club!

All fibreglass tanks should have a dead fly. It's part of their charm.

later one (S4), with part number and correction to the accent on tubo

also: "half full" not "half-full"

You can correct the problem if you don't have a real fly as you can buy replica fly stickers from Bevel Heaven.
