I'm hoping to go but its dependant on other factors.
If I do, it'll most likely be on the sunday.

I usually go with a wallet full of cash, sadly most times I come home with most of the cash and very little else

Looks like I will be there sunday

I bought my hi-level termis there years ago.
I had virtually no capability to lash the very long box on the back of the monster ..just 2 or 3 bungee straps.
In the carpark it took me as long as it takes to smoke 3 fags and eat a banana and a mars bar before I had it secured safely, to my satisfaction.
I was the last to leave the carpark, with what felt like a pair of wings attached to my monster.
And tipping into corners left me concerned that I might grind the ends of the box on the tarmac !!!
But we made it home, slowly but safely.

That same year, if I had had a spare grand in the bank account, I would have also bought an ex John Cooper, Seeley framed, racing 350 Yamaha.
I still regret that, often.

Taking a bike to a show like that is a bit like taking a knife to a gunfight.

If you are planning to buy anything its best to go equipped to take you purchases home, gave up going to shows and autojumbles on a bike a long time ago, four wheels does have advantages sometimes, I have about 6 projects going in the shed so I usually hope ro pick up something.

Alternatively it is useful if you have a cpntact going to said show with a van etc who can take you bits home its helpful

True.
But I didn't plan to buy these at all.
I merely asked Jeff Baines if he new whether the 2-1 600ss exhaust could be adapted to my M750.
He grinned, produced a titanium can'd, hi-level system, and accepted the 60 quid in my pocket plus my 200 quid cash machine limit.
I was going to lash those termis (securely) on the bike if it took me all day.
Had to take the seat cowl off and wear it as a chest protector, as I recall.

But anyway, I'm not going to make the show this year now.
Just as well perhaps.

might have been quicker without the fags and food ;-)

went - very disappointing less stands than previous years

great if you want to buy tee shirts, dodgey Taiwanese tools or rusty worn out parts

will not go next year

Yeah, but I needed the thinking time.
A termi box does not fit easily on a curvy seat hump, with scant bungees.
