well after fitting my new reaarsets (awesome cheers max). I adjusted the spring and pin thingy until it had a nice brake action.

Unfortunately I adjusted it a wee bit too much effectively pushing on the brake reservoir a little. Enough to push pads on to the disc.

The result was a failed brake, curious as to how it failed I stopped to have a look only to find my bleed nipple gone and fluid on my rear wheel. Further investigation and stripping of the calliper revealed that the pads were shot, down to the metal backing, warped disc, melted calliper seals, gouged a little bit of the inside of the calliper and started melting the ABS cable (luckily that survived).

So basically I'm a bloody idiot :grump:

So all sorted and had the day off today, decided to go for run. Stop to use my phone and notice my back tyre going down. Only gone and got a puncture, had to get recovered back to my local bike.

Pretty annoyed at all my issues lately :fiery:

Ooops!!!!, I always double check any clutch and brake adjustments with the wheels off the deck as it is soooooo easy to over do them.
Pleased you are ok and it did not lock up and have you off.
