I called in at finbar cafe ( near Fridaythorpe, on the way to scarborough).
Anyway i'd just joined the queue for a coffee, an alarm starts going off....my alarm!
I rushed over to see whats triggered it and find that a guy and pillion had parked their zzr to the right of mine and either not put the stand down, it had flicked back up or he'd not left it in gear!!!!! It's now on it's side and being supported by mine (eek)
Amazingly it landed with his steel tank on my pillion footrest. If i wasn't in the habit of folding them up when parked, it could easily have pierced his tank (afternarket pegs) instead of badly denting it. I think it's only slightly pushed my footpeg hanger in a bit. Could have been so much worse!!
