UK is Rubbish for quality supplies

Bit of a rant really but I'm fed up with crap suppliers in this country have been searching high & low for good quality 3/32 solid air frame rivets and the only place I can get them is in the USA where postage costs more than the product itself

Luckily I only 1/2 dozen so will make them myself

As much as I moan about the yanks they are head ans shoulders above the UK for any product supply

as in dural, ally, steel, monel
dia and dash length and snap head, mush or csk?
as long as they are not taking much stress and just holding two things together dural is the best, easy to form too. our ally ones wont be much good to you as they need cooking for 30 mins at 500 degrees or they crack. monel are super hard to form and steel arnt much better

Thanks for the offer ......I have what I need now.......BUT will shout if I need again although I have a bag of 500 and only needed 4 so guess I'm porpbably OK for next 20 years

I use Dural mostly for the reasons you describe but also because I use a very old clamp in vice break & snap with a big hammer:eek:
