Hi there

Just joined the forum having owned an 1100 Evo for 2.5 years.

Originally purchased for my wife, she's not ridden it much (under 1000 miles) and I've become the sole rider.

Up until now it's been left completely standard, looking to enhance it with a can and ecu flash sometime soon, will also be losing the rear pegs etc then maybe onto some suspension changes.

No doubt will be asking some daft questions, other bikes are Honda and Yamaha and all super sports.

Love riding the Monster, although not loving Engine cases having paint flaking- Hey ho.

Cheers

Dave a welcome to the forum and the EVO is a great bike, sold mine earlier this year.
As Stevo said there are a lot of owners around you in Kent as we're one of the more active regions in the club if you want to get involved at all.
Track the Kent section for what's going on in and around.

As for mods, HM Racing in Orpington will help with suspension if you don't have someone already.

I had my ECU remapped at www.cjsracing.com.
BSD in Peterborough and Dave Woods are others that poeople have used.
Cheaper servicing for the bike at DucatiProteam in Strood, but he can't reset the service indicator at this point. Very good value there, or you're down to Laguna Ashford for the Dealer Service.

They're actually in Edenbridge now and I can't recommend them highly enough.

And welcome!

Hello and welcome from just down the road in West Malling. And +1 for the recommendations for Ducati Proteam in Strood.

Thanks guys- sorry and please excuse perhaps my ignorance.

How can a Ducati specialist not be able to reset a service indicator?

Because Ducati have special software they sell to franchise dealers at a huge cost, They arn't stupid you see. I am sure someone with IT could figure out a hack but Al is just a good mechanic with years of Ducati experience.

Yeah, we usually have that conservatory all to ourselves for some reason!

Our Technoreseach software only interfaces with Marelli ECU's but fear not everyone they are at long last bringing out new software that works with Siemens-Mitsubishi, and yes, we do have it on order....although it was meant to be ready a couple of weeks ago....:)
