Has anyone ever fitted any kind of noise killer to their Termi's? if so what are the options??

My bike is an ex-challenge race bike and is fitted with straight through termi's (no baffle and stamped for "race use only") with the appropriate chip (I have the original cans and chip). I want to keep the Termi's on, however I'm getting tired of the noise that they make - they are far too loud for everyday use.

Pic of my bike on recent trip over to NW200 - despite ear plugs my ears were still ringing days later...........

I'm guessing something like these:-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Stainless-Exhaust-Baffle-2-51mm-Angled-DB-Killer-Noise-Reducer-/270704566246?hash=item3f073fdfe6

Have not fitted any but have the same cans, if the angle is the same and the end cap is 51 mm they should fit.

Looks like they slide straight in without any need for getting the angle grinder out. I'll go and measure my exhausts later, if they fit I'm buying them. Thanks;)

You just need to drill a hole in the end. I'd be interested to know how much quieter they are fitted.

I have the same issue with my 1100evo, the noise is amazing but needs the edge taken off it if my out for more than a couple hours.

The issue with the evo termis is that they are not round, so I can't use a universal type. I've ordered the correct fittings from desmoworld (you could also try them for your bike) however they are on back order and I'll not likely see them anytime soon.

If anyone has the baffles for the evo type termis give me a shout I'll take them off your hands no probs.

I have some kicking about somewhere for the 696/796 titanium termies.

Not sure what shape they are though.

Take a pic of the end of your end can, ill try to dig the baffles out over the weekend and see if they'll fit

Desmoworld (German company) do replacement baffles with various degrees of loudness - check out YouTube. I got lucky and found some secondhand ones on ebay.

Not the best picture, but I think you can see the shape ok.

Let me know if you have the bits and what you want for them.

Sorry for the thread hijack

Hard to tell from that pic, but are they sort of squareish?

If so, then I doubt mine will fit.

I have stuff to sort on bikes on Monday, so will try to find them then and post a pic

Yes kind of square....

Like this.

Alas, desmoworld are having some sort of melt down so chances of seeing anything from them are getting slimmer.

Lololo, Desmoworld must be bugging this forum. I've literally just had an email from them, they are on their way :mand::mand::mand:
