got this carbon hugger if anyone is interested. thought it would fit my thou but doesnt. :( i believe it was from a 900.
ideally if someone has one thats same fitment i need and wants a swap that would be perfect.
have included a pic and of mine with the different fitment. as far as i know there are three different fitments of hugger

The forward fixing point has a raised curve. Not the flat one that i have also encountered

If the swing arm is the same as the S4 then I think this is the one that will fit the 1000 part 56510251A.

Yeah darren thats my understanding is the s4 is the one i need i think its because the 1000 shares pretty much the same frame as the s4

Nice one ....on both counts.
I'm definitely interested then, if it fits my ally swinger, which is the type with the recessed, riv-nuts as hugger mountings, rather than the raised brackets.
No rush though, James. Get some miles in, mate.
