The frame is snapped at the headstock and the forks are damaged. The tank may be spoken for ,but the rest is for sale.
The TPS was almost new ,crank sensor and engine temp sender.
40,000 miles on the engine, didnt burn oil and went like a scolded cat when opened up ,a bit snatch at light throttle opening.
ECU reprogrammed at Avanti racing ,no immobilizer, and performance profile ,clocks are OK .
One Carbon can co. can scuffed ( left ) other fine.
I would like to keep the back wheel ,just put a new tyre on it,and the tail piece ( its missing from the new one I'm buying)
But the rest is for sale.

Can I have some pics? Also, what do you want for the ecu? Oh, and the headers!

Drumnagorrach
28-07-2015, 08:25 PM
Whats the going rate for an ECU,cost £128 to reprogram ?Its a marrelli 5.9, 2002 onward. Headers yes, what are they worth ?
I find pricing stuff difficult, new is ridiculous, breakers also seem dear ,but I would like to recoup some of the money I spent on it.

Are you splitting or selling engine as a hole?

If splitting I would like that rover cover with temp sensor and oil cooler mount.

Hi how much for the frame also V5?

Drumnagorrach

The frame is snapped at the headstock , Not sure if I have to give the logbook to the insurance, they didn't ask for it yesterday when I was told I could have it at no charge, but they have agreed to pay out.
Anyone ?

Are the yokes okay?
I have agreed to give the top yolk to another member so that he can decide if it's fit to use.
Snapping a frame takes some force and it was transmitted via the yolks.

I would like to sell the engine complete ,ideally with its ecu and injectors so that it can be slipped into another frame. I'ts not as if it's a knackerd engine . But who knows how it will pan out.

Great for coffee tables though like mine. Just bent it back a bit and rewelded but still has damage.

Cool, keep me in mind.

On another note speed sensor on 900ie, is it the one mounted to rear sprocket carrier?

If so would you like to part with that as my one in 620 probably just died.
Let me know as soon as you can as if not I will order off ebay.

How peculiar.
A front end shunt snaps the frame and the first two enquiries are for frame and yokes !!!
Bet you weren't expecting that !!

And ....I have recently discovered that a monster frame can be fashioned into a rather fetching rose arch.
Thread to follow.

No problem , that was the side that stayed skyward, just took it all off this afternoon , I left the brake line on connected to the caliper ,you wouldn't even need to bleed the brake .
What do you want to pay ?
Lee

The tank is available ,along with the pump ,but not the level sender. Also swinging arm ,rear shock and linkeage, S4R type.

As part of my ongoing collection of bits on my bike that have come from other club members' bikes, I'd quite like something from this if there's anything suitable.
Any carbon bits going ?
Carbon headlamp shell would be smashing, or tea-tray maybe......?

Yea! It doesn't have the Sie rear brake setup by any chance? If so first dibs on the bits for that please.

Try https://www.myhermes.co.uk/ or https://www.collectplus.co.uk/. I use them now for anything bigger than a small packet. Much better value and more convenient than PO.

Hermes in my area, have a habit of leaving valuable items in dustbins or in plain site of any passers by! so I don't use them. I'd sooner pay a bit more for peace of mind.

Good point but I now offer the receiver the option as it's more often than not them paying the postage.

Now that I am not buying a monster with the same rear end as the old M900ie.
The back wheel is for sale, as are a set of standard silencers.
