Spots? Spot lights?
Don't they go on GS1200's?

Isn't the electrical system on a 1200 canbus?
Not too much up on them but I thought adding a load to an existing circuit caused problems.
I'd do some research before cutting and splicing in, I may well be wrong but it would be wise to do some research before frying the electrics.

yes they have a can bus system that's why I have asked the question first before attacking the electrics.
Hopefully someone will have the info.

There aren't that many 1200 owners here and I suspect that very few (if any) have attacked the electrics. Personally my first port of call would be a Ducati dealer. Even if they don't know (they should) they have the ability to find out directly from Ducati.
J.P has an 821 and if he hasn't wired in 30 odd 'extras' yet, I'll eat my Arai ;-)

surely the circuit will have an accessories circuit or spare circuits ,, most canbus systems do
