But it's soon to be replaced with a Monster 1200 :thumbsup:

I've got a 796 so I know it's slightly different but did you have to get new cabling installing the riser?

Really sorry to hear about the Evo's demise, Neilo.
Hope you enjoy the 1200.
I've got to say that, while the evo is very much my kind of bike and I fell for it at first sight when it was launched (in black, of course), the 1200 didn't raise a single pang of desire when I first saw it.
Life's a journey though, eh ?

It kind of died...but was resurrected by Woods, but I lost confidence in it :-( I will miss it terribly!!

I grew to love the evo, so I'm sure I'll grow to love the 1200...only a matter of time...hopefully.

No new cables were needed to install the bar riser. I just rotated the throttle housing by 180. Those bar risers made the bike much more rideable for me.
