Just bought a new DP touring seat for my evo. Whilst my creaky old knees appreciate the extra inch or so seat height, I now get a sweaty a**e 😮

Anybody else?

Some sort of Talc could be the order of the day

I bought a touring seat for my M1100, same problem. Bit uncomfortable after a couple hrs. Think it might be the gel compound ?!?

I don't have that problem with my touring seat. I bought it in 2010 for my M1100 and moved it to my evo when I bought that. I have done a lot of long distance riding on that seat. Have they changed it since 2010 or should I be worried that I don't get a sweaty arse? I must admit that in Spain a few years ago riding in 40+ degrees I did perspire, but that was an all over type thing, rather like having a bath whilst riding your bike. Had to drink a litre of water at every fuel stop to keep hydrated.

When I lost it on a corner my sweat appeared to be brown!

Confirmed! This is an extraordinarily warm seat. My ride into work this morning was a chilly 8C but my bum was unusually warm - maybe Ducati ought to market these as winter seats???
