Here's (hopefully) a couple of shots of my new Remus Hypercone on my 1200S. It sounds so much better than standard all the way to the limiter. It still pops & gurgles on the overrun & down shifts so I'm happy about that.
I think it looks really smart & better than the twin can set up as it shows the wheel now. It is also 2.8kg less than the OE part. This is 2kg & the OE cans ar 4.8kg.
I may be making it up but on the 220 miles I've ridden over the last 2 days, it felt the tiniest bit snatchier at village speed - 30 or below, so may look at a remap option or just don't slow down so much!
The standard cans sounded almost thin & tinny past 7000 I thought. Then in the company of Termi's & the like, I was the runt of the litter.
Now, this comes with an as described 'removeable baffle' but the 5mm allen head bolt is tac welded in place. I'll have to find someone with a dremel to free it.
OH, I broke my (or had my) carbon front mudguard broken today hitting a branch that a truck threw up at me. Does anyone have a suitable replacement lying around unloved? :mand::banghead:
