Hello all,
Just entered the world of the ducatisti after picking up an 1100 evo-traded a lovely but heavy Griso 1100. Looking forward to picking up any tips and tricks for the experience that is Ducati ownership and hope to see some of you around!

Welcome aboard!
That's an interesting change of bikes, I've got a griso as well as me 1200....love both of them.
I'm down the road, just outside St Neots.( No longer in Halstead, but can't figure out how to change location!)
If you fancy East Kirkby, I'm heading up, it's a great day out. Give us a shout if you fancy joining in :)

Hi,

I sold an 8v 1200 Griso last year to get my 1100s. The Ducati is so much lighter, it's like a toy compared to the Griso. I liked the Griso a lot, but the 1100s really is my sort of bike.

Good luck with the Evo.

I like the ying/yang nature of owning /riding both bikes!

Loved the Griso, but needed something a little lighter - real shame they don't make the 'Zero' version in the factory. Very nearly bought a tricked out 1100S from Wheels, but just out of my price range - Arrows cans on it sounded awesome, might have to get some fitted to the EVO, tho I still think the stock exhaust sounds nice.

Grumpy, I hope to make the do in east kirkby - good excuse for a run out! - will let you know.
