I used to use Wren's oil in an earlier century, but haven't seen any in ages.
I took a punt and bought some of this.....

Its early days yet, but I must say I'm well pleased.
They say to apply it via a cloth, but I also used a kids paintbrush to get in all the seams etc.
It absorbs rapidly leaving no oiliness at all and no smell either, and you can almost hear the leather sigh with relief.
I did generous applications on one jacket and two pairs of jeans, all of which were well overdue and dry, and still have half of a ten quid bottle left.
I'll definitely be using it again and this may well finally be a permanent replacement for the Wren's.

Do any of these leave a gloss ?

Very wary, as nearly buggered up a set of leathers awhile back..

Well, I have to say my leathers are now glossier than they were.
Not exactly full gloss, but a definite sheen.
That's on black though, which might shine up most anyway ?

Walked right into that one !!

Before I recently became a singly again used lanolin.. used to get lots off of the sheep fleeces being prepped for spinning.

I use the Dainese kit for my suit and the Renapur for everything else. The Renapur does leave things a bit on the shiny side, but supple and waterproof.
