Sounds like a plan - if the weather doesn't suck, I'd be up for this (although as you know, I'm Mrs Slow, so might need to pick your brains about satnav routes/POIs, if you've got a specific route in mind, so that I end up in the right place).

That's fine Eleanor, meet us at the cafe, I can give you the route I plan to take from there if you fancy it

Anymore takers?

Still up for a ride out tomorrow Martin? Weather forecast not brilliant but not a write-off.

Is the plan to have breakfast at the Haven before hitting the road?

If you are planning to go, any chance you could e-mail me the sat-nav route tonight so I can load it on the Garmin before heading off? pm me if you need my e-mail address

Thanks!

Good to see you at the Haven, sorry I couldn't join you on the rideout. Good to see more naughty bikes than Monsters.

Made it home at last... long day, around 230 miles for us including the ride to and from the Hilltop (or whatever it's called this week :D )

Got rained on briefly, but otherwise a great day's riding, and although the roads were quite busy there were plenty of overtaking ops. Arrived home tired but grinning, and that's always a sign of a good day!

Thanks Martin for introducing us to the good Dorset roads, and to West Quay.

Surprisingly few Dithering Dorises/Dennises (apart from yours truly) and not that many caravans considering it was a bank holiday weekend in a popular tourist area.

My chip butty kept me going for the ride home, and then it was a long soak in the hot tub to recover!

A good long ride out was just what I needed today.
