Hi Guys, looking to get a bit more relaxed, moving the old 'Blade on to a new home, and finding a nice, maybe Blue, S4R - nothing as drastic as the S version. I will be keeping the R1200GS beemer though !

I see a tidy looking specimen on the Bay of Flea, anyone know the bike ??

Previous Dukes - two Carby 900SS's ( fablus) one Darmah ( what a classy machine) a 1200 Multistrada ( me no like) and a Caguva Hefalump - a real hoot.

That's the one - shame its only done 5k miles in 10 years !!

Dealer doesn't know much about the bike, it's a 996 not 916 & more like 113bhp rather than 74.

I'm going to see the bike tomorrow - can anyone point me to an explanation of the 916 / 996 variations. I know the S4RS has the testastretta engine ( I think )

Went to see the bike, not quite my thing, and colour was black not blue _ will invest the money on a decat zorst and a remap for my R1200GS instead !! Best Wishes to all and Ride Safe dp
