i got a new 821 monster in red, I like the little cowl/fairing on the stripe version but I did not want to pay £500 extra for the stripe version. Can I buy the fairing/cowl Off the stripe and fit it to my bike? Does the one for the 796 fit?

I'm in the process of trying to fit a fairing off an1100 to my 1200.
In principle it should fit, I'm clarifying with my local dealer whether the factory brackets fit or having to make my own.
WILL post up once I have an answer.

I like the look of that too for my 1200. Asked the dealer and its around £350 - which is pricey. The stripe appears to be easily removed though
