So I've finally gotten my bike out of hoc and despite having been disconnected for the shipping its battery is toast. Currently on the charger but it seems to be maxing out at 3.1V.

Been looking for a replacement and motobatt seems to top the list. Does anybody know the appropriate part number for the 2012 1100 Evo?

I make it a MBT12B-4 but double check the list:

I thought it was that one but during my search for the best price I ran across a different part number. The biggest problem being that nobody specifies EVO. I can't imagine that the M1100 or S models were that different though.

Is the Evo battery a 12Ah?

Drop Mike at Mad4Bikes an email and ask the question- he also gave me a bit of discount when I mentioned UKMOC.

I know right?! Safe and sound in the garage now and except for the battery we're chomping at the bit to get on some twisty roads.

I'll have to pull it to check but from what I've seen on Yuasa online the YT12b-bs itS a 10Ah.

It's the weekender next weekend, they'll be doing some rideouts from there :)

The one I've had in my EVO for the last 2 years is a MBT12B4..

Thanks Boris. With you and Flip, I'd say that's the battery that will be going in.
