I need to clarify the wire colours going into the male AMP style connector for the diagnostics if anyone would be a great help and have a look.
Need to make sure i've got correct plug and i'm not going mad!
One i'm looking at has 3 spaces for the tiny metal spades to poke through.
No1 isn't used, no2 is black wire and no3 is red wire/ white tracer. Is this correct?
Many thanks.

Thanks for looking.
I wounder if the one i'm looking at is some kind of spare for auxillary/ add ons? It comes out of the loom near the big connectors on the left side of battery( as your stood behind bike)

Sounds to me like the side stand switch, that should be 1: n/c 2: W/R 3: Bk

Brilliant that slob. So i am looking at the correct connector...... But what i thought was red with white tracer, must be orange/ white tracer and what i thought was black must be black/ violet tracer..... Just off to specsavers!!:mand:
The reason for asking for this info is, i bought a diagnostic tool from Technoresearch, centurion model. When i came to use it, it wouldn't connect.
Further investigation revealed one of the wires from the tool is in a different place in the connector block to the one on the bike. I've asked the question at Technoresearch and they say their wiring config is correct. I'll send them that picture of the ducati wiring diagram. Their wires are in the 1 and 3 position in the AMP female connector on the scan tool, as opposed to positions 2 and 3 in the bikes male connector.
