Hello Peeps,
Perhaps someone can give me a little help here?

My '97 900 is currently in the process of a bit of a freshen up and as part of it I have an Oberon clutch slave to fit which according to the instructions requires me to use the supplied spacer in order for it to be the correct length.

The spacer is not required on the post 2001 bikes so instead of using the spacer can I simply use the push rod from a later bike or is there another reason to use my original push rod and the spacer combo?

Thanks!!

There are 3 different push rod lengths that I an aware off however there is no that the part number for that year bike is the one you need, stick with the spacer and you will be fine

To add to the confusion, I noticed that Ducati are supplying some pushrod kits with an anti-rotation pin. I did happen to notice that the latest Oberon slaves had a cut out which looked like it was to accept this, so if your slave has this, it maybe worth asking the question if the pushrod is available?
