Bex and I have booked on with No Limits Trackdays for Donnington on Saturday 20th June.

A rare weekend date, and if you wanted to, it's also on the Sunday too.
Cost is £185 per bike
Noise limit is high at 105 db's.

Never done Donny before.

Yeah think I'll be up for this one, being the weekend helps as I'm using up a lot of holidays on mid week track days this year. Good shout.

Just spoke to Kate and this will be a good chance for a bit of a shake down for Spa, so she's going to come along and we'll rent a van to check my new ramp, chock etc... before heading off to Spa in Aug... also give Kate a chance to work out what to do in a paddock :)

Will be booking inters too... can't really keep scaring Novices even if I am a slower inter then you two!

Don't worry Jim. We'll wave as we go past. :)

And as it's only 20 mins per hour, it gives Kate plenty of time to look after all of our bikes.

To be fair, Jim's monster is bigger than yours. He might be doing the waving.

I should add that that sounded less weird in my head :-)

... also give Kate a chance to work out what to do in a paddock...

which if you've just been 'dragged' along might be:
1. open deck-chair
2. open bottle of wine
3. open a good book

;-)

Just booked on inters too. Might look at a van hire in case Shelley wants to come so may have space for a bike if anyone wants to share

You will love it- although we don't use the GP circuit for the old bikes but instead have the little right left flick of the Fogarty Esses back onto the start/finish straight after the Dunlop Straight. The telly makes it look so flat but out of Hollywood and down through the Craner Curves and then up the hill again is just breath taking.

Donington is a great track and getting better all the time as they spend some much needed cash on it, the only bad part as a result of that is the camping area is a lot smaller now for those of us without motorhomes and caravans- still as noisy at night though with the DHL flights out of East Mids Airport.

Little 'Bella' is a bit too slow on a normal track day there else I might be tempted as we're racing there over the 7th, 8th & 9th August
