Hello All,

For sale is my immaculate, one previous owner M900Sie, which I’ve owned since Nov 2014. It was UK registered new in March 2001 and I bought from a friend who owned, loved and cherished it from new.
Current mileage is 21570. Recently MOT’d which expires 27/03/2016 with no advisories and all previous x11 MOT certificates included.
The bike is a completely non tail chopped standard Sie with the exception of the following parts being fitted and all removed original parts included in excellent condition.
Termi slip on carbon exhaust cans with matched ECU
Rizoma billet aluminium alloy see thru cambelt covers
Oberon clutch slave cylinder
Ducati Performance upgraded seat
Ducati Performance clutch cover
Alloy bar end mirrors

The bike has been meticulously serviced from new with most maintenance being carried out by the supplying dealer (Pro Twins of South Godstone, Surrey) and other servicing/maintenance by the original aircraft engineer owner with a comprehensive collection of receipts in addition to the service book with x15 stamps/signatures.

Miles and dates of oil, brake/clutch fluid, plugs & filter changes/inspection services (as applicable) are as follows - 607 – 25/05/01, 1698 – 22/03/02, 3734 - 31/03/03, 5469 – 23/03/04, 6714 – 04/04/05, 8062 – 29/03/06, 11025 - 21/05/07, 11964 - 04/04/2008, 13820 – 18/04/09, 15645 - 18/04/10, 17353 – 27/05/11, 09/03/12, 12/04/13 and 20164 - 23/04/14.

Miles and dates of significant maintenance items are as follows –
3734 – 31/03/03 Cambelts replaced.
6714 – 04/04/05 Cambelts and clutch seal replaced.
Aug 06 Clutch plate set replaced.
11025 – 21/05/07 Cambelts replaced.
Jul 07 Throttle body potentiometer replaced.
13820 – 18/04/09 Cambelts replaced.
Aug 08 Ignition coils replaced.
17353 – 27/05/11 Cambelts replaced
Mar 12 Clutch plate set, clutch basket and chain & sprockets replaced.
Sep 13 OEM clutch slave cylinder replaced with Oberon item and clutch push rod and pressure plate bearing replaced.
20164 – 23/04/14 Cambelts replaced. Current mileage is 21570.

Both original keys, owners manual, service book and x 2 perfect condition 2001 Ducati sales/spec brochures plus Haynes manual and new OEM oil and fuel filters are included.

The complete bike is in full working order and as amazing in all respects as you would expect, given it’s cared for life.
The only known items to be aware of are that the service for 2015 has not been carried out with the last one on 23/04/14, including cambelt changes, being done less than 1500 miles ago. Also, the fitted Metzeler Sportec M3 tyres will soon need replacing.

My reason for selling is that I simply do not have room for two bikes and realise that this one cannot be my one and only bike……if I had room for a 2nd bike this one would be it. I enjoy riding most of the year (well, above 2 to 3 deg C!) in all weather conditions and cannot bear to consider taking my Monster out on anything but a 100% dry day unless I had a spare couple of days afterwards to clean and polish it back to current condition.

I think I've covered all details but if you have any further questions please ask via this thread or PM. I am in the Horsham, West Sussex area.

All the Best, Alan

Forum pics don't work so use www.postimage.org. It will resize them for you as well. It's very simple and intuitive. Just upload the photo you want then copy the 'direct link'.

Back here click the little yellow square -> http://s28.postimg.org/yhfpnnpt5/yellow_mountain.jpg above the text box and paste the link in the box. Job done

Thanks for advice Dirty. I'd already sorted through photobucket with some help from my son! ATB, Alan

Also meant to add that new Db Killers and fitting screws/washers are included which I bought but did not need to pass the MOT, so the Termis have not been drilled for them.

That sure is nice. I was almost tempted but not got the room yet for another. Beautiful.

It is a lovely example of the breed.

I don't know but would you better off financially if you were to return the bike to standard and sell off the goodies seperately?
Just a thought...

Its a very nice example.
Same age as my 750, so I can see at a glance how well its been kept.

What's that I can see below the swingarm in the first pic ....a lower hugger section ?
If so, leave that where it is whatever you do. Speaks volumes for the care its been shown.
Haven't seen one of those before.
Effective ?

Thanks for the positive replies all.
Goofle....thanks for advice on selling off goodies separately. Must admit i had considered and will look at in a while when less busy at work. I'm also open to offers and will put on other sites soon but thought UKMOC would be first place to advertise.
Utopia....well spotted...another example of original owners attention to detail. He fabricated it from aluminium alloy as he felt that the original part was not long enough to adequately protect those under areas should the bike ever be ridden in the wet! I can only guess that it's been effective by the condition of rear undercarriage areas : ) I have the original plastic guard too but as you say best left on as it's barely visible with back wheel off of paddock stand.
When I get chance I'll probaby return to standard and sell bling parts separately but will have to wait for a couple or 3 weeks before I get time.

If I had the money I would have had it as is because its tasteful and doesn't detract from the stock look much. Someones going to get a great bike in one form or another.

Hi there,
I hope my S4 might be as nice as yours one day, it looks a treat.
I'm not sure if A, if they would fit or B, if you wanted to sell them? If they do, and you would, how much would you want for your OE seat and mirrors please?

The Sie seat won't fit yours buddy.

But I have one from a 620ie that will. It will be a little lower than your standard S4 one though.

Sorry for delayed reply Staggy. I won't be selling OE parts separately as will sell bike as is complete with all OE parts or put bike back to standard and sell non OE separately. Cheers.

I have decided that before putting on general sale sites and as I don't currently have the time to return the bike to standard that I'll be happy to accept offers in the region of £2900 for the bike and all OEM parts.
Thanks, Alan

Blimey that's a bargain for someone

Totally agree Dirty ........and I'm going no lower as I know I'll easily get around £3K for the standard version then sell non OE bits on this site or eBay for around £400 when I get chance to return bike to standard in a few weeks' time as currently busy at work and travelling quite a bit.
TBH I've advertised only here so far as would rather sell to someone who knows, understands and appreciates this bike including noises which not all are comfortable with!! BTW I've also previously owned a 1998 900SS for 8 years so familiar with being asked about "strange" valve and clutch noises! Then I had an Italian Honda fling (Aprilia SL1000 Falco!!!) for a few years before returning to this Monster.
Cheers, Alan
