I know its not the usual thing ask for on a Monster club but I know some of you are hoarders or have links to people who might have the bits. I have asked already on the Ducati Forum and DuN.
I am looking for a reasonably priced GT1000 or Sport Classic Fuel Tank.
Paint colour and condition is not overly important as long as there is no damage to the outer surface. I will be chopping the underside and making it fit my current project.
Thanks,
Yorkie

Ped,
Thanks for those, I'm looking local first before going abroad with my search .......... and the second one not a chance, my pockets are deep so I cannot get the money out!

Without being rude what sort of money are you looking at spending?

Noticed he's selling tank and side panels, I'd be interested in the side panels, but could only give you £30.00 as they're for a silly project. Just a way of getting the tank cheaper

Sounds like a plan, I will see when he gets back to me.

Is this for the project with the chopped ST2 frame, currently wearing a white tank and seat ?
If so, then I can now admit that just about the only thing I didn't like quite so much about that bike was the tank.
If this is to be a replacement then I think its a good move.
If not ....then sorry for the slight slur on the current tank.
But I love the rest of the bike, so far.

Yes it is for the ST2 cafe thing. The tanks are almost identical on the Sport Classic and the White tank so I will see how it goes.
Different builds for different folk, no offence taken.

If you are interested I will tell you when the side panels get here, £30 and they are yours.
