Hi I've just bought a S4RS and want to fit a belly pan with an oil cooler guard/screen, preferably carbon fibre.......Any suggestions?

Hello and welcome to :ukm:

And uh-oh.... nice bike Shaw1one, but there are some here that think belly pans are the 's work.

Personally I quite like them and would use something like a Bestem long pan, but I believe S4RS may be a special fitment. People with cleverer heads (but not bigger) than mine will be along soon.

I would have to paint this to co-ordinate with the rest of the bike, including sexy visible hint of stripe on the leading edge. However if you've lost the udder it maybe a bit 'gappy' around the back...

I got mine off italian ebay about 4 years ago. Carbon fibre. Be carefull because you can get with/ without clearcoat. I think it's a unique shape just for s4rs due to deep sump clearance issues. Fits spot on.
As do the evotech oil cooler/ radiator guards.

Speaking of belly pans, where is Black Bob? Haven't seen him here for ages!

That looks like a DP one (or a copy of) with the rear section cut away to accommodate the 'udder' part of the exhaust.

I am not sure if they make one specifically for the RS but if they don't and you went with a standard DP S4 one I would imagine you would need to modify the front section to allow for the S4RS's oil cooler but am unsure whether by doing so it would still fit the shape of the engine cases but as with all these things with a few modified brackets and some thought anything is possible.

Ducati Performance 'Monza' style as fitted to my S4. Fits behind the oil cooler so should fit S4RS too.

I have a similar one in the for sale section, not DP though, aftermarket carbon but the same shape.

the only belly pans that protect the engine are the full length type as in squareheads post above but i have a feeling they wont fit the S4RS because of the deep sump engine

pompones option looks good but again doesnt cover the rear of the engine

I have the "Imola" style one on my M600. I do like it, but plan to add in some venting on the front and a few drain holes. I have scraped it whilst cornering a few times too.

It does affect ground clearance a fair bit.
