How to remove/replace oil level inspection window

Yo Folks

Am thinking of having engine side cases on my 1997 M750 powdercoated and expect to have to remove and replace the little oil level inspection glass window and seals before they go in the oven.

Anybody know how they are held in place?
How do I get them out?

and most importantly, how do I put them back properly?

they're held in by the rubber seals, you should be able to tap them out using the largest size socket you have that just clears the case

I put mine back in almost the same way but with a little silicone lube to make them slide over the paint I'd just put on.
Worked nicely.
The glass part is thick and tough just knock it lightly and squarely till it drops out.
