"This year is Ducati Aarschot's 5th anniversary. We want to celebrate this with a private Ducati Aarschot Trackday on Friday 10-07-2015 at Mettet. Here we offer a very favorable price of 79euros.
This day will be in 4 groups; beginner to expert. The beginner is reserved for Ducatisti riding for the first time on track or just experience's sake
There will be all day theory and practical guidance. More info will follow very soon, but mark this date in your diary and ot an unforgettable day with us.

*If not fully booked on 01-05-2015 we are forced to admit other brands. Register quickly and let us keep this exlusive Ducati!"

Mettet is a great track, small and quite technical. Jim and I went on the way the way to MOB Monster Day in 2012. We can recommend a local biker friendly hotel too, which I'll look up when I get a chance. The training from Mertens race school was good but quite challenging for my French though. The guys at Ducati Aarschot are really friendly too. I'll definitely be booking if it looks like I'll be bike-fit in time and there are still spaces, since I just had surgery on my arm

I can host some people at my place if wanted. I leave for Mettet friday morning around 6 so anyone wanted to come over on thursday can stay at my place and even for the weekend after if you like.

Anyone else up for this? I'm going to book this soon, since they open up to non-Ducs on 1st May if it's not full. I would suggest you'll need dB killers though.

Just me then...

Hoon across Belgium Thursday, trackday Friday, meander back via a few beers over the weekend

You're riding there then ?
That would've been my first question.

I'm very tempted but can't commit finances at this stage.
Might be able to make a late booking next month, if there are any places still left.

Yeah, seems a bit 'heavyweight' to take a van, especially for a group as small as me. Tailpack with toolroll & change of clothes should do it.

I'd prefer to ride there anyway.

Its pencilled in, but I'll need to fund new tyres and db killers as well, so probably won't make it.
But it sounds like a hoot (and a tobacco run would largely fund it anyway), so if cash flow permits nearer the date I'll post up then.

Slob, if you want me to bring something with the van just let me know.

I might go the long way round, 160€ for this (http://www.ducatistas.com/foros/ducati-en-general/xii-kdd-nacional-ducatistas-info-inscripciones/) looks like a good deal, might need a new rear tyre by the time I reach Belgium though.
