We are staying in a self catering place on Douglas seafront down near the ferry from 29 August to 2 sep

I'm also thinking of going again this year. 2014was the first time I went to the classic/Manx, thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed nature compared to the TT.
Will make a decision by the end of Feb.
Last yr, I stayed in a hotel on Douglas sea front called the tryvelen, basic but good.if you would like the details for the hotel,drop me a pm.

I'm hoping to go, but it does rather depend on finances at the moment so nothing is booked and I'll be looking to get a ferry cancellation or something.
Tbh, I'll probably pack a tent.

I'm looking at Homestay B&B's at moment including Trevelyan hotel (cheers James) so going to ping a few mails and see what I get back.
Ferry's no surprise already look fairly busy so date looks like 28th Aug to 2nd Sept.
