there are plenty of sellers on ebay that are selling the full interactive Ducati workshop interactive manual on dvd/cd for less than a tenner.

Hi Rick

I was just searching for the front and rear brake caliper bolt torque settings, and noticed you have sent a workshop manual to uksurfer. Would you happen to know the above settings or send me a copy of the manual please.

Thanks

PM me with you're e-mail address and I'll forward it. File's too big (for me) to send thru the forum. Sorry luddite..

There seem to be quite a few requests for torque values on the forum so, for the benefit of all 1100 Evo owners, here are all the figures from my workshop manual, plus the list of appropriate lubes and loctites.

Note all torque settings are in Nm.

Hope you find this useful...

Luddite, just to clarify, my post regarding 'luddite' was referring to my poor PC skills. I wasn't trying to oik people in your direction. Apologies for any inconvenience to you..

Freaky coincidence! I was in the middle of pasting all those pages together when you posted!

By the way, I chose my user name because my online skills, like yours, probably leave something to be desired. Oh, and also because I can't handle anything more advanced than those nice, old-fashioned, air-cooled motors!

Thanks to Boris & Luddite, pdf copy saved and printed out and kept in the garage, just need to figure out what they call the handlebar clamp bolts now??

Glad to help, Baz.

The four bolts holding the handlebar clamp are listed under 'Handlebar clutch lever' as 'Handlebar U-bolt screw' (25 Nm). The two riser fixings are under 'Front fork' as 'Nut securing U-bolt to steering head' (45 Nm).

I'd also recommend downloading the spare parts manual from the Ducati website; not only does it show you how all the various bits fit together but it also gives you Ducati's 'unique' descriptions for the parts so it's easier to find them in the list of torque settings.

A quick bump as these torque settings may be of interest to our new Evo owners...
