Hi,

After 5 weeks of standing I tried to start my M900 yesterday and it would not start.
The motor turned over but would not start.
After several attempts to start, the starter motor stopped working.

The battery is charged and there is a click when the ignition key is turned but nothing when I press the starter button.
Checked the fuse and this is OK plus there is fuel in the tank.

Does anyone have any idea's on how to check if the starter has broke or what the problem may be?

You can check the starter by bridging the two connections on the starter solenoid.

Try holding the starter button while turning the steering from side to side.
It may fire, so be ready.
If it does, I'll expand on why and how to fix.
Its reasonably common.
Mine did it for a whole year, but still always started eventually.
