A few years ago I bought a little Honda 400 for the price of that Number Plate Holder, ran it for 2 years then sold it on for the price of the Frame Plugs.

Can I come in and jokingly say only a fool would pay anymore ;):running: . Its not hard too but that's branding isn't it. Its hard not to on occasion. Ducati are asking over £250 for the other bike I am getting. For now the side mount stays depending .

I hope you sell the stuff on and you probably find the seat cowel is made by Carbon Vanni who make DP stuff and are very good quality indeed.

My view is if I just paid £12000 + for a bike there ain't no way I'm going to stick a £100 tail tidy on it, the same as I'm not gonna buy some **** piece of fake carbon for £50.00 off ebay, it just doesn't make any sense to me, but hey, that's just me.

I am a sucker for branded merchandise and I'm a great believer in 'you get what you pay for', but I do agree that some of the DP stuff is way overpriced but it is excellent quality. The carbon tail piece is a work of art, so is the tail tidy which includes a long or short version, complete new cabling, plugs, 2 license plate holders, reflector and the bracket is a machined piece of aluminium made by Rizoma. I also agreed a discount with the dealer I bought the parts from which I was pleased with but a potential change of direction means I would prefer to move them on with a further saving for one of you guys.

I have been offered a reasonable price for all the advertised parts or I may keep them but thanks for all your interest.

May be i should clarify. ...I paid £100 for a DP tail tidy kit.....brand new!

When they introduced the 1200's the DP tail tidy's were only £207.00 so its quite possible to get a deal on one if a dealer had/has old stock. Heaven only knows why they are now nearly £400.00. You did well there.
