Anyone got any battle scarred Helmets and stories ?! Here's my old arai shoved Into a car on the dual carriage away by some pillock on his mobile and superman'd over my 916 clip ons with the bike landing on my head ! Note deletion of foggy autograph :-(. I did get a free ride in a helicopter though lol

Somewhere I have a battle scarred lid but not as bad as that. A nice lump out of it where my head slammed the road. I felt it big time and ruined my favourite Lid the AGV GpPro. Never had a better one since imho.

My old race helmet suffered six crashes (on track) over three years, including a 100mph off into Gerrards at Mallory Park, without a single scratch!

Back in the 80s I sported an Everoak (the one plod used to wear) and managed to take the visor retaining studs and most of one side out sliding down the East Lancs. Used it later on for sand yachting at Lytham which finally wiped it out!

No, hit a patch of oil slowing down approaching the lights at Lancaster Road, luckily I was heading out of Manchester in the rush hour or would have been run over by a stream of cars.
