It's 2.6c as I write this, and it's been a nice sunny day. However, on the way home this morning from taking the dog out I was mortified to see a gritter depositing it's evil contents. What time were you in Southport? I was onmy way down Marine Drive at about 10:00 on a run, ended up going through Crosby and across to the M58.
