Hi All,
I'm having a set of clear belt covers made as no one makes them for the evo. We need to check the clearance that will be required between the belt/pulley etc and the clear cover. I'm currently away so cant get to the bike to check or take any pics to help the chap who's making them for me. Does anyone have any close up pics or drawings/measurements we could use please?

thanks very much

Have someone like these guys 3D scan the original belt covers >> http://www.laser-scanning.co.uk/ that#ll give you an accuracy of about 5 microns.
I've used a CT scanner to make a data volume then extract out a 3d model, that I can get down to .3mm which is good enough for most stuff I need but that's not a readily available toy.

I'll be interested in buying some completely clear belt covers for the evo...

Curious which CT scanner you used ?

The chap who is making the covers has a 3D scanner but the stock units I sent him to use as templates are too big to fit in it, so I believe he may be subbing the scanning out. BTW thanks for the referral Nick. Neilo I'll post up when we have made some progress - he can't give me a price until he's scanned, so that will be the deciding factor for me to hit the go button to produce them, but its very likely I will anyway!

Presumed it was Nick the .3 comment gave it away, not surprised on your comment as superb piece of kit, its highly likely I produced the site/design plans

Is this stuff any use to anyone. You'd probably need a garage extension though :)

I've made a note of everyone who'd like a set, still early doors yet and is likely to be a slowish process just to keep the costs down. I'll update once we have a guide price to see what everyone thinks.
