£1420 for a M reg Monster with a rusty tank, bust clocks and generally nowhere near perfect!
Was it anybody on here buying a new winter project?

Indeed! It's not even got a legendary hoop!i was mildly playing with the idea of buying it to do the mods I'd like to have done with mine - high rise pipes, tail chop and generally butcher it s bit but not at that money!

sounds over priced and a bit of a money pit

If I had bought something like that as a starting point to my 'project' Monster it would have saved me a small fortune in sourcing all the 'odd' bits that didn't come with the frame and engine that I bought separately...

Wait for sometime next year... I have some big change of life plans that may well involve my 750 being up for grabs and that will be at a very realistic/sensible price and it doesn't have a rusty tank just lots of fun and loved miles on the clock.
£1420 from someone that writes like ernie wise "That's all what I know about it" ... Nicely picked up Darren ;)

I rang asking how the clocks were damaged and if it was straight, as to me the thing looks slightly odd in some of the views. Apparently the clocks were damaged when it was dropped in an alleyway during a theft attempt. Unsure how that could damage the clocks though.
At that point I started thinking the bike maybe wSnt forms!

I think Dirty picked up on it first and it made me chuckle, when I read the ad!

I've had another look at the ebay photographs, and was probably being a little harsh there to be honest

If you spent two grand rebuilding it you could have a really nice M900 worth about £2500
