Concept bike spotted on another forum.
Looks quite monsterish.
I quite like.

Love it. It's the sort of seat unit I want. Bit like this one

or this one,

either would do :)

Yep. I like the look of it, but I wouldn't want it....Food for thought though.

Looks like it started out as a Monster or possibly an ST4 ?

Imagine the abuse that somebody would get if they did that to a yellow hooped original Monster! I copped for enough spirited opinion when I though of chopping the tail on mine. There would be public hangings! I have to say I like it - fortunately I don't have the funds for doing that kind of modification!

The two different styles, I think, are modern and interesting. The blend of the tank lines with the headlight assembly give an aggressive but pleasing look.
The high level exhaust combined with the sent unit on Dirty's second picture make me think of a Manx Norton.

Does anybody have any details on the bottom Monster, for instance what the swingarm, tail unit are please? I'd assume it's a custom built exhaust?

Frame is 916, not sure about the rest.

Swing-arm is form s4rs. Frame what ever Duke says and bike is built by original Radical Ducati.

Wait for my yellow hoop monster to be done ....... I might get slaughtered :)

Tail unit and tank are RAD02, sadly now unavailable since Radical shut down

I'm wondering how big a job it would be to marry a 916 swingarm to an early Monster frame? Not my yellow hooped 93 model though Saint, I'm not that brave!

It's doable but needs some machining. I plan on doing something similar at some point

If I was only in my last job, I'd have been trying this for definate. I had unlimited and heated space to work on my bikes there, as well access to pillar drills and lathes. It's a bit trickier now. I've got a normal garage to play in - but with six bikes in there already.
I'm giving it thought...

Well how much hassle you want to do.

- Easiest is to get a S2R.....
- Bit harder but still ok get a S2r 800/1000 engine and swinger (or use 916 one as engine side same dimensions) then just mod the frame
- This option is full on mod as will require modifying engine cases, swing-arm, frame where swing-arm mounts.

Option 2 and 3 will also require exhaust mods and new rims ......

Option 1 is boring
Option 2 is cheating
Option 3 is where it's at

If I ever went mad enough to like single sided on monster shoot me. If you do not I would go option 3 but fit a S2r style swinger not 916 together with some nice custom rims and box style pipes to keep it all clean in looks.

Or maybe have the swinger on the right and chain on the left ............

JMO has some interesting info here...http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=50319&page=2

You need to see post#17

Chain on the right..MMmm you would need a bevel twin for that...Nice.
