Hi Everyone

The time has come to part with my monster and try something new.

So, here is she is.

2008 (58) Ducati Monster 696+ with Termignoni Carbon silencers, ecu and air filter fitted. 9548 miles

£SOLD

Thanks for looking at my 696 that I have for sale, with the obligatory (should be standard!) Termignoni exhausts fitted.

The bike is standard except for rim tape and the exhausts and in excellent condition. The standard exhausts, ecu and air filter all included in the Ducati box so you could revert it back to standard if required for any reason. The Termignoni silencers also come with the baffle inserts (removable) to allow easy MOTing / less noise if required.

Full service history. Oil service completed on June 2014 (9292 miles), belts and full service last year June 2013. Brake and clutch fluids changed September 2013 with rear brake master cylinder refurbishment kit installed. New front brake pads August 2013.

Never dropped or used on track. Nearly new front and rear tyres (both last year, minimal miles). New voltage regulator this spring.

MOT due June 2015, Tax end of September 2014 (but will be putting 6 months on if doesn’t sell before then).

2 keys, standard books etc all included, receipts etc too.

A lovely bike running and looking fantastic. Genuine reason for sale.

Any questions please call/message 07791 217710.

Hi Everyone

Is this too expensive?? Not a ****y-bird of interest so far from ebay classifieds, MCN online or gumtree.

Should I have priced it at/under £4k?

Dunno, what are others selling at. Psychologically £3999 will always be a better looking price to a seller than £4000. We humans are strange and simple folk.

Sorry I must be having one of my slow days. Do you think that it needs more pictures then? Not sure what you mean about the bin - are we talking wheelybins?!

ignore gazza, its just that wheely bins are nearly always in shot

youor bike looks nice but you are up against alot of competition as a seller right now (end of season loads of bikes for sale)

how much is hard to say, dealers always inflate their 2nd hand prices as they expect to haggle and give away extras like warranties and free servicing to sweeten the deal , buyers dont often see the extras just the headline price

under £4k for sure i would say as is

if you have the original exhausts and ecu, you might want to consider taking the termis and ecu off and selling them separately

you could advertise at £3750 without the terms and i reckon you would get a few more equities

yep I'd wondered about that.

I do have the standard exhausts, edu and air filter so I could put it back to standard but I suppose I was hoping that it might appeal to someone who wanted the package together ready to go (just like I did when I bought it).

Ok - exhausts being handed over on Tuesday and bike being handed over to new owner on Wednesday

Yippie!
