Seem to have a fuel issue with the S4R, a tank full only lasted 50 miles!

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Clearly a happy ride issue.

:) :) :)

Surprised me, Devon A and B road riding in the first three gears and only just nudging the national speed limit between corners due to the twistyness of the roads

I have never actually worked out what mine does, every time I go out I just make sure it is full before I get home so I know that if I want a blast it is always full and ready to go.
While out I usually fill up if I hit 50miles or more.

I have never really thought of what it actually does. Hooking great carbs, Termis and fun ECU mean I was never really that interested.

I use my Suzuki van van for commuting. Now that is economical 100mpg. And it is a fun bike......get one.

Have you checked the tank isn't leaking ?
Even on my most aggressive trackday's on my old 998 S4R Monster I got 75 miles from a tank.

You should get more than that I would have thought if you were taking it easy. I can get around 90 miles on a tank full until reserve light comes on.

Tanks fine
Tank was full
Revs mainly between 5k and 7k for most of the blast though I was over 8.5k if it was a short distance between corners

Did a further 110 miles after that on a replenished tank, and the light never came on (which I know works) so I think everything is fine

Ok, either that or you have a dodgy air temp or pressure sensor. I did a round trip to work and back on £5 quid the other day. Light came on as I was warming the bike up, garage didn't have any premium fuel so I put £5 of regular in and light came on just as I was pulling up outside on my return. I rarely see above 7k, most being just bimbling along at 3-4k at around 50-60 mph.
