any options tried from standard?

only had mine out a few times and i find the gears quite long.. will have to get the covers off i s,pose and find out whats exactly on it.

Stick a 14 tooth on the front ;)

I know it is a Ducati option but it is always much better (if a little more money and hassle to do) if possible to go up a couple on the rear- it gives the chain a much easier time and won't compromise any clearance around the swinging arm.

Yes its the quick option but not only reduces the overall diameter it will start to rub on swingarm guide quicker as its tighter and theres more chance of slapping in and around the front of engine casing if not adjusted. Better off going up 2 on rear but may have to add a link. You should be fine going to 14 but its not the ideal as lots do it. I did it on my S4 but I didn't like the cruising revs I had got used to for years.

Standard on the front is 15, agree that going up on the rear 2-3 teeth is better, but try the 14 on the front first, if you like it then go to the expense of replacing the chain and both sprockets as a package.
