No but not a problem at all. I can get a bank transfer or a cheque if you need but I am ok whatever. Would be nice to at least ride to Belgium in Sept with a lighter clutch. Thanks for letting me know. Consider SOLD

Its not quick but is easy enough once you remove all the old stuff. Patience helps but dry fit all first. Hardest thing is tagging electrics to the brake tail light.

Got my slave today thanks Richy. Postman made me pick it up from sub office as lazy to take to neighbour but Caroline picked it up today. Just what I wanted and hope to fit on Saturday.

Why the problem with the indicator. They disconnect on a fitting. Do you mean the clamping. I actually changed mine this last time for rizomas and bought the correct fitting for the indicators but I had to make up special washers to clamp to the tidy. These are designed for stock indicators. Pictures would help us take a look.

You need to take the metal bit out of the rubber bit

This may help

Ah they have changed the fitting on indicators. On early ones theres a allen bolt and a special clamp washer.

I see what goes on now. Early ones never had rubber extenders and that's why they used to get occasionally broken by boots over the seat.

reply from Evotech.

The rubber mounts are removed. They do not fit to the tail tidy.

Please see instructions.

The rubbers will come off as they the indicators are all the same. The bodies that is. There is a small allen bolt that clamps mine. Its probably a 3mm key. Try putting a key down through the rubber and undoing it. I am guessing but its logical. See fig 6 and fig 8 on the instructions Rollo put up. There is a almost C washer ( more diamond though) with an allen bolt clamping it and in fig 8 its used to clamp up to new bracket like mine.

cheers chaps, but after understanding the rubbers were redundant, it was a 30 minute job..... seems daft to lose the rubber mounts especially on a big twin.. but hey ho....

does look better now, soz for the dodgy pic, i think me hand was still shaking from puttin a screw driver through me finger.....

They were rubber NOT for vibration but being kicked/knocked off by boots. Do a search for " Has anyone got a spare indicator they want to sell as I accidently kicked mine off whilst getting on bike ."

Glad your sorted now. As I stated patience is the thing you need most of all lol
