As the title says, it must be, because the other half has said she wants to go bike touring in the US! Apparently it has to include Yosemite National Park, after that I'm free to choose!

So, has anyone used a good bike tour company in CA? Not into Harley's so would prefer something like a BMW RT. Any tips and advice greatly appreciated :) Thanks chaps

Akita Boy went earlier this year, Grumpy is going next year. Both on HDs though. I think Akita is currently giving Grumps some beard growing tips :)

Grumpy people get beards with no hassle so that is a bit of waste of time

There's a name for people without beards.......... Girls!

And yes I went from East coast to West coast in March, organised by 'The Lost Adventure'

It was awesome. And although I'd never really bonded with the HD Ultra Glide, it carried me and the Missus and all our bags over 3800 miles and in all sorts of weather/temperatures without missing a beat. One day we started in Flagstaff at about 7000 feet with snow on the ground and ended up in Death Valley, 300 feet below sea level with a temp of over 40 degrees.

Lost Adventure are run by a pair called Tim and Jim and they use hire bikes from EagleRider. They're top fellas and may well be worth dropping them an email through their website for advice.

I've booked to go from LA to Orlando, in January.
The bike is supplied through Eagle Rider, although I'm hiring Hadrian V twin. They also are nice guys.
