Sadly, the time has come to sell...

2002, s4 Challenge, 916cc 4 valve engine, 12750 miles, MOT and Tax November 2014,
Good service history (Motovation, Cheltenham) Last serviced November 2013 (inc. new cam belts), Termignoni carbon fibre silencers, Ducati gel saddle, raised tinted screen (Original exhausts, saddle, screen and seat cowl included), Good Pirelli Diablo Strada tyres. Recent chain, sprockets, battery and rear disc.
3 keys (inc. red one)

I have owned this bike since 2004 (bought from Ducati Aylesbury), it is in very good condition and has always been well looked after. It's a really good fun bike for blasting around on and also very comfortable for longer rides.

Surprised you've had no interest. Looks well priced (now... Not sure what previous price was) for Same-owner-for-last-12-years bike with low miles and history. Desirable extras too.

Good luck with the sale

Best colour as well!

That's probably the problem. Yellows are too fast for most riders to handle :)

Final little bump!

Embrace the plumbing...

...think Galluzzis original sketch concept had a radiator??

His original prototype, that he built and rode was using an 888 engine. It was only because they had a shed load of 900ss engines lying around as the 900ss wasn't the sales hit they expected, so they decided to use up those in the monster.

No where is really that far away in the U.K. if the bike is worth it.

Bearing in mind the condition of the bike / extras / just been serviced I'd like £3000 for her - very near offer considered for quick sale.

Please feel free to call / pm for more info or a chat.

A little bump...

Advice please - is price reasonable?

Would back to stock and ask about £2600 be a better option (and sell exhausts, gel seat and raised screen seperately?)

I would return it to stock and stick it on Gumtree (where I bought mine originally) and/or Ebay - you're restricting your audience far too much on here. In saying that the extra's would probably be snapped up on this site - I'll have the gel seat please:mand:

At £2600 the price looks OK IMO

Damn about a month or so too early for me.. Probably moving out to Chelt .. not worth it at the mo as I'm still running in from the Mono end of the forest daily.
Liking the S2R series but an S4 mmmmmmm (despite the plumbing)

If I put it back to stock I'll let you know about the saddle - AlanS4 gets first refusal as he was first to ask.
